Brad Schuchardt
President

With over 15 years of experience in public and private accounting, Brad has provided assurance, accounting and consulting services specific to restaurants. Brad is the founding member of BTBK and has extensive experience in the restaurant industry. This includes six years at a national accounting firm focusing on assurance services for Franchisor’s and Franchisees, as well as five years as the CFO of a 40 unit Quick Service Franchisor and over five years as a business owner. Brad is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the WICPA and AICPA.

Elizabeth Lipp
Admin Assistant

Elizabeth grew up in Springfield, IL and received her BA from Western Illinois University. She worked for the US House of Representatives and WI State Senate providing administrative support and constituent outreach. She most recently ran her own business for the last decade. She joins BTBK as an Administrative Assistant.  

 

Amy Johnson
Accounting Manager

Amy has worked in the accounting industry since graduating with an Associates degree in Accounting from Gateway Technical College in Kenosha 20+ years ago.  Her previous accounting work experience has been in the trade show industry, electrical contracting and pharmaceutical research.  She has joined the BTBK staff as a Senior Accountant.

Amanda Fehrman
Senior Accountant

Amanda has over 15 years of restaurant and financial accounting experience.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Upper Iowa University.  She joins the BTBK team as aSenior Accountant.

Leigh Anne Montgomery
Senior Accountant

Leigh Anne is an experienced accounting professional with over 15 years in public and private accounting. She has 23 years of restaurant industry experience, from quick casual to fine dining, and a strong background in financial management and operational strategy. Leigh Anne is currently pursuing her MBA and believes accounting is the language of business, using financial insights to drive success. Originally from Dallas, Texas, and now based in Southern Oklahoma, she is passionate about helping business operators achieve financial clarity and efficiency.

 

Amanda Fletcher
Staff Accountant

Amanda has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Middlebury College in Vermont, and earned a Graduate Certificate in Accounting from Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in Massachusetts. She started her career in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche in their Boston Office. She has also held several positions in nonprofit development, management and accounting, and currently serves on a number of nonprofit boards. She joins BTBK as a Staff Accountant.

Allison Case
Staff Accountant (PT)

Allison holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western Michigan University. Her previous experience includes work in a small public accounting firm, small business accounting and accounting at a mid-sized engineering firm. She joins BTBK as a Staff Accountant.

 

Rebecca Shook
Accounting Manager

Becky holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma and her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.  She has over twenty years of experience in financial reporting, cash management, operational accounting and acquisitions and mergers.  Her pervious accounting work experience has been in the energy industry, non-profit, medical, construction and manufacturing industry.

Crystal Smith
Senior Accountant

Crystal has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.  She began her career in the retail industry as an AR Specialist.  She continued her accounting career working as a staff accountant in a small eye clinic, real estate brokerage firm , and most recently at a large insurance servicing company.   She has joined BTBK as a Staff Accountant. 

Nick Cmehill
Staff Accountant

Nick joins BTBK as a Staff Accountant. With a strong background in the restaurant industry, he brings a wealth of expertise and insight to every role. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, he combines his academic foundation with hands-on experience to deliver exceptional financial management and reporting. Known for his analytical mindset and attention to detail, he excels at driving efficiency and providing strategic support to help businesses achieve their goals.

 

Wendy Hansen-Haines
Staff Accountant

Wendy has over 15 years of experience in accounting. Her previous experience has been in energy, recycling and manufacturing. She also has several years of experience with inventory management. She has join the BTBK staff as an Accounts Payable Specialist.

Alex Baitinger-Peterson
Accounting Manager

Alex brings over 10 years of accounting experience to our team. With a strong background in the restaurant industry, she has also worked in biotech and public accounting. Additionally, Alex has substantial experience in financial management and reporting. She has joined our staff as an Accounting Manager.

Cindy Whitehorse
Senior Accountant

Cindy has built her career over the past 21 years working in the financial field. Her experience includes accounting, auditing, management, and personal finance. She spent 16 years focused on financial and compliance auditing for a tribal organization. Most recently she has worked in personal finance at a local credit union. Cindy is joining the BTBK Accounting team as a Staff Accountant.

Michele Chase
Senior Accountant

Michele joins BTBK as a Senior Accountant, bringing with her a wealth of experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Upper Iowa University and has accumulated over 20 years of diverse accounting experience across several industries, including restaurant accounting, biotechnology, relocation, and banking.

 

Lisa Gray
Senior Accountant

Lisa has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Saginaw Valley State University. She began her career in the waste management industry as a staff accountant, moving up to accounting manager. She continued her accounting career doing the financials for her own businesses in the car wash (6 years) and food service (18+ years) industries. She has joined the BTBK staff as a Staff Accountant.

Jamie Tangen
Staff Accountant

Jamie started her bookkeeping and accounting career in Property Management 31 years ago and has spent time in Public and Private Accounting Jamie’s experience in bookkeeping and accounting includes working for an Engineering firm, a Hair Salon Franchise, and non-profit organizations. She joins BTBK as a Staff Accountant.

Suzanne Powers
Senior Accountant (PT)

Suzanne has worked in the accounting industry since graduating with an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Davenport University, 20+ years ago.  Her previous accounting experience includes retail, distribution, taxation, manufacturing and human resources/payroll.  She has joined the BTBK staff as a Senior Accountant.

 

Erin Strauss
Staff Accountant

Erin recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin Platteville with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in Agribusiness. She is currently working towards her MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Louisianna State University- Shreveport. Erin has previously held three internship positions in public accounting doing auditing and taxes. She joins BTBK as a Staff Accountant.

Sarah Todd
AP Specialist (PT)

Sarah has nearly 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable. She has formerly served as part of the Accounting staff in the Manufacturing Industry and in Academics. She has joined the BTBK staff as an Accounts Payable Specialist.

Bryce Flemming
Staff Accountant

Bryce recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Finance. He is currently working toward his CPA. With experience from three internships and a full-time role in public accounting, Bryce has gained valuable expertise in assurance and tax work. He joins BTBK as a Staff Accountant, excited to contribute to the team and continue growing in the field.
